SCRA Field Maintenance RFP

SCRA Field Maintenance RFP:

The South Charlotte Recreation Association is opening a request for proposal process for our field maintenance contract.  We are accepting bids for a one year field maintenance agreement for our baseball fields and green space located behind Old Providence Elementary School, 3800 Rea Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226 and balls fields at Jay M. Robinson Middle School, 5925 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28277.  The fields covered under this agreement will include all of the baseball, football practice, and open field space behind Olde Providence Elementary School as well as the baseball and softball fields at Jay M. Robinson Middle School. 

The SCRA field maintenance scope of work requirements are detailed in the attached pdf document.

  • Bids will be accepted until 6:00 PM January 31, 2020
  • The contract start date is currently set for February 7, 2020

Field Conditions
Game and practice cancellations will be made at 3pm on weekdays and at 8am on Saturdays. Cancellation announcements will be made via email braodcast from cordinator to coaches, to parents.
