Thank you for considering South Charlotte Baseball! We strive to provide a comprehensive baseball program for players of all experience and ability levels from age 4 through 12 years old.
Mission Statement of South Charlotte Baseball
The mission of South Charlotte Baseball and affiliated programs is to serve the needs of the youth baseball community in South Charlotte. SC Baseball will provide opportunities for learning, development and competition for youth players of all levels from the introductory player to the experienced, longtime player who is considered a prospect for his or her high school or college baseball team.

What equipment does your SCRA player need?
SCRA provides each player with a Jersey, Hat and Belt..
Catchers equipment is provided for MP-Majors (There are no catchers in T-Ball)
The below items are not supplied by SCRA and recommended every player have:
Baseball Glove
Batting Helmet
Baseball Bat
Baseball Pants
Baseball Cleats
Protective Cup
For our Cal Ripken divisions (Rookie Machine Pitch, Machine Pitch, Minors and Majors), all bats must contain the USA Baseball marking to be eligible for use beginning January 1, 2018. Barrel sizes for these divisions may have a 2 5/8” maximum size. Our Babe Ruth age groups have differing standards depending on the age group. Bats that do not meet these requirements will not be eligible for use at SCRA beginning January 1, 2018. Below is a summary of the rule for the different divisions:

Our T-ball division will continue to be permitted to use bats that are marked appropriate for T-ball use.
